This report presents the results of the System and Organization Controls 1 Type 2 examination conducted in accordance with relevant attestation standards established by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants for the United States Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) National Finance Center's (NFC) description of its financial systems used to process user entities financial transactions throughout the period October 1, 2025, to June 30, 2026.

This report presents the results of the System and Organization Controls 1 Type 2 examination conducted in accordance with relevant attestation standards established by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants for the United States Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) Office of Chief Information Officer's (OCIO) description of its financial systems used to process user entities financial transactions throughout the period October 1, 2025, to June 30, 2026.

This report presents the results of the System and Organization Controls 1 Type 2 examination conducted in accordance with relevant attestation standards established by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants for the United States Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) Financial Management Service (FMS) description of its financial systems used to process user entities financial transactions throughout the period October 1, 2025, to June 30, 2026.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Office of Inspector General (OIG) initiated an engagement across select USDA facilities to determine how much USDA space was being used by employees and contractors reporting to work in-person.

Our review evaluated staffing levels and attrition rates by state, category (retirement, dismissal, resignation, external transfer, DRP, or other), and agency.

OIG completed a final action verification of all nine recommendations in our June 25, 2021, report on the Hurricane Disaster Assistance-Emergency Watershed Protection Program.

As part of the Office of Inspector General’s (OIG) oversight responsibility, we reviewed the results of prior OIG engagements that were relevant to the funded trade programs. We identified areas with reported past weaknesses and recommendations that may provide the Foreign Agricultural Service (FAS) insight when disbursing funds under these programs.

The Office of Inspector General completed a final action verification of all 143 recommendations in 12 audit reports on the Food and Nutrition Service’s Summer Food Service Program. 

We reviewed the results of prior OIG and Government Accountability Office engagements that were relevant to the to the supplemental disaster funding provided by the American Relief Act, 2025. We identified areas with reported past weaknesses and recommendations that may provide the Agricultural Research Service's (ARS) insight when disbursing funds allotted by the Act.
